We are growing a couple of varieties of garlic this year:
· "Music" is known for its large, easy to peel cloves and excellent (not too sharp) flavor. It is a favorite among chefs.
· "Red Chesnok" is a pink-skinned variety with smaller bulbs than the Music, but big flavor! According to our source, the Hudson Valley Seed Company, “It has excellent flavor, especially when roasted, imparting garlicky sweetness to cooked dishes, without overwhelming heat.”
