Tomatillo, Potted Plant
Add a few tomatillo plants to your garden for the freshest salsa verde on the block! Tomatillos grow similarly to their cousins, tomatoes. But be sure to give them room—they tend to sprawl and self-seed readily, so you’ll likely have tomatillos for years to come! You’ll need at least two plants for successful pollination and fruiting. Tomatillos grow inside papery husks that look like paper lanterns, and are ripe when the husks split open and start to dry.
